Dr. Robert M. Handley, Hanshi - International Ryu Kyu Kai Karate AssociationThis website is the first one where we can see all the shotokan kata. I have been a shotokan practitioner for the past 47 years, those kata need to be available to all shotokan people.

I feel it's up to us seniors in the art of shotokan to lead the way... I have told all my students and members of our association to go to your site and join.

After 20 years of persuit of self-improvement in Karate, what I really needed was reliable, up to date reference for Kata. Often times a small detail escapes one`s mind, so this serves as the right "backbone" data bank of information, so to speak.
The meticulous creator of the website has certainly been able to find and assemble the best resources of today`s and yesteryear`s Karate expertise!

A nice site and a very nice service in this age where everything has a price tag.

Thank You, M.J.

I'm very hapy to read from you. I am a Kenyan Martial Arts Trainee SHOTOKAN and I would like to know more about this game. I personally think that this site is very helpful for all persons who are practicing martial arts in particularly, as it gives me lot of skills and as I prepare for exams and valueable training tips. It also give me a chance to see katas above my level being performed in the correct way so that I as a student will know the proper techniques, execution and application of the katas and the Bunkai.

Keep it up!

Showing many different performances of the kata is something I wish every martial art site should do.

There are many applications for every technique and every interpretation of the technique gives rise to subtle differences in the execution of that technique during the kata.

The ability to quickly contrast and compare these differences is the gateway to an in depth study of the kata.

You're doing a wonderful service to all Shotokan practicioners and to all other martial artists who visit your site. Keep it up!
